Manchester United have made their move. The Red Devils have reached out to Pervis Estupinan’s camp as they explore a deal for the Brighton left-back.

Brighton, who recently brought in Belgian defender Maxim De Cuyper, are ready to let Estupiñán leave. United have taken note and made contact, though no formal offer has been made yet.

How Pervis Estupinan can fit in Man Utd under Ruben Amorim
Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 shape demands wing-backs who can defend and attack. Estupinan might be a natural left-back, but he’s shown he can push higher and create danger in the final third.
Former Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi once said, “He started from left-back, but you can find him in a striker position.”
Estupinan would be a solid partner and competitor for young Patrick Dorgu, who joined in January.
Luke Shaw remains an option, but with injuries and age creeping in, adding depth is smart business — not just another full-back fad.
Brighton signed Estupinan for around £15 million in 2022.
United may need to pay more now, especially with Milan sniffing around. But if Amorim sees the Ecuadorian as a perfect wingman, this one might just go the full 90.
