Manchester United may soon have a big call to make in the transfer market.
With Newcastle turning up the heat in the race for Benjamin Sesko, the Red Devils have reportedly been offered a new name — Dusan Vlahovic.
The RB Leipzig forward has been United’s top striker target this summer. But with the Magpies submitting a fresh £69.7 million offer, United could be left behind unless they act fast.
So far, no official bid has come from Old Trafford, though internal talks continue.
Sesko is said to be open to both clubs. However, Leipzig want clarity soon. They’ve already started looking at Rasmus Hojlund as a possible replacement, possibly even on loan as part of the deal.
But here’s the twist — if United can't land Sesko, Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is apparently on the table. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, United have been offered the chance to sign the Serbian forward in recent days.

“Manchester United, in the last three days… have been offered the possibility to sign Dusan Vlahovic again,” Romano said. “If you can’t get a deal done for Sesko, Vlahovic is an opportunity.”

Vlahovic, 25, scored 10 goals and added 4 assists in Serie A last season. He’s out of favor at Juventus and has just one year left on his contract. That puts United in a strong position to negotiate if Sesko goes elsewhere.
Juventus manager Igor Tudor praised him earlier this year, saying: “He’s a very strong player and I’m happy to coach him... He knows how to score goals, he understands, he’s intelligent, a motivator.”
Transfermarkt values Vlahovic at around £30.5 million — a far cheaper deal than Sesko.
The ball is now in United’s court. Will they stick with Sesko or shift their focus to a striker who might just be ready for a fresh start?
