Manchester United will attempt to break further new ground under Ruben Amorim by winning a third Premier League game in a row when Brighton & Hove Albion visit Old Trafford.
The Red Devils won away at Liverpool for the first time since 2016 last time out, Harry Maguire's late header sealing a 2-1 win and giving the beleaguered head coach his first consecutive victories in the top flight since he took charge last November.
That remarkable statistic underlines the troubled time United have gone through under the Portuguese, but last weekend's win at Anfield was one of a handful of performances this season that, perhaps, show United are turning a corner.
Defeating Brighton would certainly underline that fact. United have an awful recent record against the Seagulls: they have lost six of the past eight meetings in all competitions, including the most recent three league games at Old Trafford.

Man United team news
After winning back-to-back league games for the first time, Amorim is not likely to make too many alterations to his lineup — if any at all.
Patrick Dorgu could come in at wingback, although the balance with Amad Diallo and Diogo Dalot worked well for the most part at Anfield, so Amorim will likely stick with that. Harry Maguire's matchwinning performance should see him keep his place ahead of Leny Yoro.
Casemiro was taken off shortly after being booked last time out, but he had played well until that point and will presumably start once more ahead of Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo.
In attack, the front three of Mason Mount, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo looks to be Amorim's preferred option at present.
