Manchester United will be in the market to bring in a proper goalscorer after their struggles in scoring goals in the current campaign.
While fans can expect a proper squad revamp under manager Ruben Amorim, the team management is keen to secure attacking reinforcements to transform the team into a more potent attacking unit.
Therefore, the Red Devils have been linked with several forwards ahead of the summer transfer window. The latest addition to this shortlist, as per FootMercato, is Fiorentina striker, Moise Kean.
After years of inconsistency and struggle at Juventus and later at Everton, it seems like Kean has finally realised his potential. The 25-year-old has come of age with 17 goals this season in 30 Serie A appearances. Overall, he has netted 23 goals in 43 outing across all competitions.
The Italian marksman is currently the second-highest goalscorer in the ongoing Serie A campaign. He is only behind Atalanta forward Matteo Retegui, who has netted 24 goals.
However, it is not only about the goals and the numbers that he has generated this season. It is about his commitment and demeanour that has impressed everyone, and it seems like finally the Italian has found the right environment for his development.
Will Manchester United push for Moise Kean this summer?
There's no doubt that Kean has grown in stature under manager Raffaele Palladino. The 25-year-old, who was once thought of as a flop due to his horrible stint with Everton, is showing more maturity and has been the main man for the Viola this season.

According to the reports, Bayern Munich are the other club who are monitoring the Italian along with United. However, Fiorentina are under no pressure to sell the forward as his current contract runs till 2029, after they paid €13 million to Juventus to bring him to Florence ahead of this season.
But his contract has a €50 million release clause, which will be valid from this July. So clubs are monitoring his progress in Florence, and if he keeps performing like this then there will be suitors for him soon rather than later.
For now, he joins Manchester United's long list of striker wishlist. The Red Devils already have players like Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres, Ipswich Town's Liam Delap, Newcastle United's Alexander Isak and Victor Osimhen on their radar.
While all of them are proven strikers, it remains to be seen if United qualifies for the Champions League or not and the amount of money they would like to spend on a forward this summer.
In both conditions, Kean looks like a viable option for Amorim. If the deal happens, it will be a second chance for the 25-year-old Italian to prove his worth in the Premier League.
He had a dismal tenure at Everton where he made 39 appearances across three seasons and scored only four goals.
