Lost in the hype of Abdul Carter and Jaxson Dart thriving during the New York Giants' offseason workout program is the fact that star wide receiver Malik Nabers has yet to take the field and participate.
Nabers, who set the Giants' single-season receptions record as a rookie in 2024, has been sidelined with a mysterious toe injury, one that he dealt with during his time at LSU and, apparently, has lingered into his pro career.
And anytime a skill player like Nabers, who relies on speed and quick-twitch movements to succeed, is dealing with a toe issue, concern arises.
New York Giants coach Brian Daboll helped calm those concerns on Wednesday with his update on Malik Nabers' expected training camp status.

Simply put, Nabers should be good to go.

Nabers' first year in the pros ended with 109 catches, 1,204 yards, and seven touchdowns in just 15 games and with sub-par quarterback play, making his upside in 2025, with Russell Wilson at QB, as high as any young receiver in the league.
The Giants' success on offense hinges on Nabers being 100% ready to go by Week 1, so don't be surprised if he's given more than his fair share of rest days during training camp to put his toe injury behind him once and for all.
