Make the UN purge all its terrorist employees AND their supporters

Cheers to USAID for identifying, rooting out and barring from future employment so-called “aid” workers in Gaza who use humanitarian agencies as cover for their real job as Hamas terrorists.

Enough with all the denials of the clear fact that the UN Relief Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees works so closely with the terror group that it’s really just a Hamas subsidiary.

Hard evidence shows that UNRWA agents in Gaza — teachers, medical workers and bureaucrats — joined in the Oct. 7, 2023 invasion of Israel and the ensuing atrocities.

UN poohbahs did a cursory investigation into 19 employees and fired nine for their role in the attack, though Israel and independent monitors say the number is much higher.

But the United Nations has never policed itself effectively, and it’s not going to start now.

The real problem is that hundreds of UNRWA workers are paid-up members of Hamas, and many of them were involved operationally and logistically with Oct. 7, even if they didn’t invade Kfar Aza or the Nova Festival on a rape and murder spree.

And because until recently the United States covered 30% of UNRWA’s costs, these criminals and terrorists were effectively on the American payroll.

Washington has stopped funding UNRWA (thanks, Mr. President!), but still supports other agencies sending aid to Gaza.

Yet the rot goes far beyond the top of UNRWA, to much of the rest of the UN bureaucracy: Francesca Albanese, the UN “special rapporteur” for the Palestinian territories, openly cheers for terror.

To make sure Hamas operatives don’t change hats and jump from UNRWA to the World Food Program, UNICEF or OCHA, the USAID inspector general is digging deep to identify and debar Hamas officers and affiliates who moonlight as aid workers.

Good: As the world looks ahead to rebuilding Gaza without the bloody hands of Hamas, it’s imperative that terrorists and killers are excluded from reconstruction or relief work, especially if it’s on our dime.

In fact, no group employing terrorists should get a dime from America; all US aid to the entire UN should be contingent on a complete purge of pro-terror elements.
