Andrade has found himself in a bit of hot water as of late. New details have come to light regarding his non-compete clause.
After Andrade was released from WWE, he showed up on AEW TV a few weeks later and aligned himself with The Don Callis Family. Shortly after this, it was reported that the former WWE star had violated his non-compete by showing up in AEW, and hence, the sports entertainment juggernaut could keep El Idolo out of the ring for a year. Since then, he has not been seen on TV, and there is no update as to when he will be seen again.
According to new reports from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, people close to the situation have claimed that the former WWE star's non-compete is worldwide and isn't just restricted to the United States.

Vince Russo believes Andrade's non-compete won't hold up in a court of law
Ever since the news about Andrade's non-compete clause broke out, several people have given their take on it. Even a former WWE writer has addressed the situation.
Speaking on an episode of Writing with Russo on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Vince Russo said that TKO may have a great legal team, but so do the Khans, and a non-compete like this won't hold up in court.
"Let's face it, man. Vince McMahon and TKO, do they have great lawyers? Yeah, bro. So do the Khans, okay. When you're billionaires, man, you've got good lawyers. And I tell you, bro, I remember this going all the way back to about 1995-ish when Steven Regal fought this, and it came back- you cannot prevent somebody from making a living. And he won, and he was able to work. So, I mean, it's been proven in the past that this will not hold up in a court of law," Russo said.It will be interesting to see when El Idolo will be allowed to return to action.
