Tony D'Angelo was attacked tonight on a WWE show. After this, it appears that a split may happen soon.

Tony D'Angelo's world turned upside down at NXT Stand & Deliver when Stacks Lorenzo turned on him. The following week, Stacks took Luca Crusifino out to the desert, but it wasn't known what happened to him. Meanwhile, Tony moved Adrianna Rizzo into hiding. Luca showed up at NXT Battleground during Stacks' match against Tony but didn't attack the former. He sat by and watched Tony lose, which didn't sit right with D'Angelo.

This caused tension between Tony and Luca Crusifino after the former made it clear that he could no longer trust the latter. Tony addressed the whole situation tonight on NXT. He quickly called out to Luca to explain himself. Tony asked Luca to explain what happened with Stacks in the desert. Luca explained that Stacks just took him to the desert and left him there.

Tony asked Luca if he was with Stacks, but before he could answer, he was interrupted by Lorenzo. Stacks came out with three guys and tried to drive a wedge between them. However, Luca helped Tony fight off the other three guys while he brawled with Stacks. When Luca went to hit Stacks, the latter ducked, and he accidentally clobbered Tony.

This incident will sow the seeds of doubt deeper into Tony D'Angelo's mind.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
