The former AEW World Tag Team Champions denied working with each other despite getting orders from Tony Khan. The two broke out of a tag team earlier this year.

The major AEW stars, Max Caster and Anthony Bowens have no interest in working together. The two were an immensely popular tag team since their arrival in the Jacksonville-based promotion until going their separate ways earlier this year. Despite breaking up, Caster and Bowens teamed up on multiple occasions over the past few months due to Tony Khan's orders.

Meanwhile, Tony ordered both Max Caster and Anthony Bowens to say nice things about each other and be on good terms for a meet-and-greet event. Both Caster and Bowens pretended to like each other while being face-to-face. However, the two still refuse to work together because they were just being nice. After all, Khan told them to do so.

The exclusive footage can be seen as follows:

The former Acclaimed teammates will be up against each other in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal this Wednesday on the 3-hour special Holiday Bash. The two also vowed to win the Diamond ring by winning the battle royal in the above clip.

Tony Khan was requested to end a popular AEW tag team

Last month, Tony Khan announced that Anthony Bowens and Max Caster would team for a four-way tag match despite them breaking up months ago. Reacting to the match announced, both Bowens and Caster urged Tony not to make them team up again:

"Bowens said: 'Two hundred thousand dollars? Tony, that's not nearly enough to get me to want to tag with this guy.'" Caster: "Yeah, we can't agree on anything except we don't wanna be a tag team. But you're forcing us, so I guess we'll take your money, beat up all your wrestlers, and hopefully never tag again. Don't make us do this, please."

Only time will tell if The Acclaimed will reunite despite their differences.
