WASHINGTON — Democratic Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner raved about gross graffiti of male genatalia and gleefully recounted pleasuring himself in porta potties in newly revealed Reddit posts.
The since-deleted messages, which have been recovered via the PullPush search tool, show how the presumptive Democratic nominee to face Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) in November used his burner account for bizarre sexual banter.
In March 2017, Platner — under the user name “P-Hustle” — had commented on an r/Military forum post asking fellow vets: “What are some familiar scents that bring you back to reality or nostalgia?”
“I still have to jerk off every time I sit in a portashi—er….that blue water smell conditioned me,” Platner replied in a post first reported by Fox News.
Years later, in March of 2021, the oyster farmer opined in the r/USMC forum in response to a user who posted a collection of graffiti about men’s private parts from their military era.
Platner replied to the “GWOT D— Art” post in shockingly graphic fashion about the “most beautiful sight these cynical old infantry eyes have ever seen,” referring to similar graffiti about the male anatomy.
“Oh sh—!!! You’ve got the Hot Rod C— from Manas!” he remarked, before shifting into a description about what he’d seen.
Manas appears to be a reference to a military transit hub in Kyrgyzstan that was used by American forces during the war in Afghanistan. Platner served in the Marine Corps from 2003 to 2007 and did stints in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
“It was beautiful. Engorged and veiny, it rode towards its penetrative glory upon two smoking hot rod wheels, smoke and fire enshrouding its tumescence, winged like Nike as it pushed ever forward towards its conquests,” the aspiring senator wrote.
“I sat there in sheer awe, my feelings of happiness to be going home washed aside by the soul filling joy to be allowed to witness such glory.”
The Post contacted Platner’s campaign for comment.
“You should read the comments in context. It’s very clear I’m joking,” Platner told Fox News Digital about other wild Reddit posts that had been unearthed. “It’s called s—posting. It’s when you argue with people on the internet and try to bother them. So, yeah, no, it’s very obviously not true.”
The Post previously reported on how the self-styled anti-war candidate once defended urinating on dead Taliban soldiers and called war “the most enjoyable experience.”
Last year, Platner faced controversy after his unearthed Reddit posts showed him describing himself as a “communist,” ripping “all” police officers as “bastards,” and chiding that rural white Americans “actually are” racist and stupid.
He was also criticized over a tattoo apparently depicting a Totenkopf or “death’s head” symbol used by the Nazi SS.
The Maine Democrat says he got that ink in Croatia while inebriated in 2007 and denied knowing its Nazi links. He has since inked over it with a “Celtic knot with some imagery around dogs.”
