Madonna’s vintage outfit from surprise Sabrina Carpenter Coachella performance is missing

The vintage outfit Madonna wore to perform during weekend two of Coachella 2026 is missing.

The music legend was a surprise guest for Sabrina Carpenter’s headlining performance last Friday night, where she took the stage to sing her classics “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer” with the pop star.

Madonna, 67, wore a purple jacket and a lilac corset over a lace dress, accessorizing with matching long gloves and sheer stockings.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Madonna told fans she was pumped over the performance —before shockingly revealing that the costume she wore on stage had gone missing.

“This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing – my costume that was pulled from my personal archives – jacket, corset, dress and all other garments,” she wrote.

“These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history. Other archival items from the same era went missing as well.”

Madonna is offering a reward for the items’ return.

“I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items and reach out to my team at: [email protected],” she shared.

“I’m offering a reward for their safe return. Thank you with all My Heart 💗.”

Madonna also posted pics with Carpenter, 26, from Coachella, writing, “Still flying high since Friday night at Coachella! Thank you to Sabrina and everyone who made it possible To Bring Confessions II back to where it began -was such a thrill!”

“A moment in history, I will never forget,” she added. “I FEEL SO FREE.”

Madonna explained the significance of her Coachella performance during her shock guest appearance in Indio, California, over the weekend.

“So, 20 years ago today I performed at Coachella. I was in the dance tent, and it was the first time I performed ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ part one in America,” she said.

“It was such a thrill — and it’s a thrill to be back. It’s a full circle moment, you know? Very meaningful for me.”

Next up, the icon is preparing to release her highly anticipated “Confessions II” album later this year after teasing her new track, “I Feel So Free.”
