Luka Doncic gets Chris Evans comparisons with new look

Luka Doncic went viral for the new look that is giving him Hollywood star comparisons.

The Los Angeles Lakers star was photographed as he was walking, holding a black bag while wearing a plain white T-shirt and blue jeans. What fans couldn't get enough of was the NBA star's new haircut.

"Why luka looking like chris evans," one fan wrote on X, comparing him to the actor.

While a majority of fans thought he looked like Evans, another believed he had a similar to a soccer star, the fan wrote on X, "why is my GOAT cosplaying kevin de bruyne."

Another fan suggests he's ready for the 2026-2027 NBA season: "He’s ready for his first MVP look at my franchise player."

The NBA star is reportedly showing his teammates around Slovenia, with an exclusive five-day trip and mini-camp. He's been sharing moments from the trip on Instagram, including a team dinner this week.

Last season, Doncic had a Grade 2 left hamstring strain which forced him to miss the last 15 regular-season and playoff games. However, during Doncic's first season with the Lakers, he averaged 33.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, 8.3 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game on 47.6% shooting from the field.

Earlier this month, he declared in an email to fans that he is ready for the upcoming 2026-2027 NBA season.

“My recovery went great, and I'm 100% healthy again," he wrote on X on Aug. 3. “Taking some time away from basketball is something I do at the start of every offseason. It's a different way to do things, but it works for me. When I let myself miss the game a little bit and try some new things, it only makes me more excited and motivated to get back to playing.”
