"I have decided that after Genesis in January, I'm going to be retiring from in-ring action. I didn't want to just throw that at you guys out here. But I wanted to do it here in Orlando, in this arena in Full Sail, because this place means the freaking world to me. I'm so grateful for the last 27 years I've spent in this business. I'm grateful for you guys. I'm grateful for the WWE. I'm grateful for TNA. I've spent a lot of time being ungrateful in this business, but right now, I'm telling you that I am very grateful for my last couple of years here in TNA. This is the best locker room I've been in. I truly mean that from the bottom of my heart."

After the show aired, the star then took to social media top thank fans for the response he had gotten.

Fandango's wrestling career is now coming to an end but he was always loved

The star spent a large part of his career in WWE. He was very successful on NXT and even after he was called up to the main roster, his theme music and his dancing got him instantly over with the fans who loved him.

While he did not win a lot of titles, his team with Tyler Breeze was also over. Breezango went on to win the NXT tag titles together but that's not all they did. On the main roster, even when they were not getting wins or appearing regularly, they started the Fashion Police and with the Fashion Files taking place regularly in a tribute to Twin Peaks, they managed to get very over with the fans.

Since leaving WWE, Fandango has remained a beloved figure wherever he's gone. Currently a part of TNA, now he is winding up his career and it's time to say goodbye in a matter of three months.
