Lola Young Speaks Out After Collapsing Onstage at All Things Go Music Festival
Lola Young is officially back.
The “Messy” singer marked her big return to stage during the 2026 Grammy Awards on Feb. 1, five months after stepping away from the public eye after an onstage medical emergency.
Inside the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Lola joined fellow Best New Artist nominees Olivia Dean, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, Addison Rae, The Marias and KATSEYE for a montage performance. (Olivia ultimately took home the prize.)
For her first Grammys outing, Lola donned a green, two-piece set from Vivienne Westwood before changing into a burgundy, off-shoulder dress for her performance.
The 25-year-old's last major public performance came in Sept. 27 at the All Things Go Music Festival at Forrest Hills Stadium in Queens, N.Y. However, her concert took a scary turn when in the middle of her song “Conceited" she fainted and had to be carried off stage by her crew.
Days later, Lola announced that she would be taking an indefinite hiatus from performing, canceling the rest of her performances for the foreseeable future in order to “work on myself and come back stronger.”
“I'm going away for a while,” she wrote in a post on Instagram Sept. 30. “It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future.”
In December, Lola ended the year with optimism, offering an update on her health and sharing her plans for returning to the stage.

“I just wanted to express gratitude to everyone who has given me time and space to gather myself and get my head in a better place,” she wrote on a Dec. 20 Instagram post. “I’ve felt so much love and support from you all and it has helped more than you will ever know.”
“I am hoping to gradually get back to performing and continuing pursuing my dreams, she added. Happy Holidays to you all and can’t wait to see you in 2026. Life is a journey, nothing is perfect but today I am doing well. All my love always.”
