Logan Paul pins WWE Hall of Famer after the mystery attacker strikes again

Logan Paul pinned a WWE Hall of Famer on RAW tonight. This happened after the mystery attacker showed up.

Logan Paul and Rey Mysterio renewed their rivalry a few weeks ago when the latter slapped the social media star backstage. Last week on RAW, Logan retaliated by ambushing the WWE Hall of Famer from behind. Rey put up a tough fight until he was attacked by a mystery figure. This allowed Logan to knock Rey out with the brass knuckles.

Tonight on the red brand, Rey Mysterio squared off against Logan Paul in the main event. During the match, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker tried to get involved, but CM Punk stopped them using a steel chair. Moments later, Paul Heyman slipped the brass knuckles to Logan. As he went to use them, Rey tripped him onto the ropes and hit the 619. However, the mystery attacker showed up again and hit Rey with the stomp. This allowed Logan to hit the frog splash and win the match.

CM Punk gave his honest thoughts on Logan Paul's heat with the fans

Ever since his WWE debut, Logan Paul has taken to the business nicely. He has competed in some major storylines and is able to perform well in the ring. Despite being a great performer, Logan gets a lot of heat from the fans for various reasons.

CM Punk recently made an appearance on What's for Lunch? and addressed Logan's heat with the fans. He praised the social media star for taking things seriously and wanting to do more, but suggested that he doesn't need to because people already hate him, and in the wrestling business, that means money.

“I understand the criticisms (about Logan Paul), and I would probably be levying them heavy against him if I was CM Punk from like 10 years ago. But to see him take it seriously and want to do more, but the way the business is now, it's almost just like, pump the brakes. You don't need to do more. It’s fascinating because everybody hates this dude, and I think that's one of the more admirable things about him. How much everybody hates him ‘cause in our business, that means money.
