Local Miami TV ‘Weather Bestie’ launches account on ‘PG OnlyFans’ site

Former Miami TV meteorologist Amanda Pappas — the Bronx-born weathercaster who branded herself as viewers’ “Weather Bestie” — has launched an account on Passes, a subscription platform often described as a PG-rated version of OnlyFans.

Pappas, who is known for frequently posting glam content on her social media feeds, is no longer at Miami ABC affiliate WPLG-TV after spending only a few months at the station, industry newsletter FTVLive recently reported.

Now, the former television meteorologist appears focused on a different kind of audience after gaining a rep on mainstream sites for posting glamour shots, fitness content, event appearances and lifestyle updates alongside weather forecasts.

Her account on Passes — which allows influencers, athletes and content creators to sell exclusive content directly to followers — features the same kind of content, plus extras like direct messaging to subscribers.

Unlike OnlyFans, which is known for adult content, Passes prohibits nudity and pornography while allowing creators to charge subscribers for photos, videos, livestreams, DMs and other premium content.

One video currently available on Pappas’ account costs $8 to unlock despite running less than 30 seconds.

Pappas is also offering a membership package that costs more than $50 per month, though it was discounted to about $36 as of Friday.

According to her page, subscribers receive unlimited priority messaging, access to all of her walled content, weather updates, posts about her vie en rose, livestreams, monthly freebies and discounts on additional pay-per-view content.

It was unclear how many subscribers have signed up for her Passes account.

Before arriving in Miami, Pappas worked at WINK News in Fort Myers and later at WTSP-TV in Tampa.

While WPLG has not publicly announced her departure, Pappas no longer appears on the station’s weather team roster.

Her most recent published contributions on the WPLG’s website are dated Feb. 16, when she authored several weather stories, including forecasts tied to a South Florida cold front and Valentine’s Day weather coverage.

The Post has sought comment from Pappas and WPLG-TV.
