Lizzo mocked Sydney Sweeney’s controversial American Eagle ad by posting her own satirical version of the campaign.

The “Juice” singer, 37, shared a digitally altered meme on her Instagram Thursday in which she was wearing a denim shirt and jeans identical to the ones Sweeney wore in the highly criticized photo shoot.

“If the Democrats won the election,” the meme was captioned in an apparent slight toward the left, who were up in arms over Sweeney’s ad.

Lizzo, a black, body-positive advocate, hit back by taking to the caption of her post, writing, “My jeans are black…”

Her response was a direct callback to the slogan Sweeney used in the campaign released earlier this week, in which she made a pun on the word genes by saying she has “great jeans.”

The blond-haired, blue-eyed actress then added, “My jeans are blue.”

The “Euphoria” star, 27, quickly faced an onslaught of backlash, with some critics going so far as to call the commercial “Nazi propaganda.”

“When those traits are consistently uplifted as genetic excellence, we know where this leads,” one TikToker argued in a video.

“This just echoes pseudoscientific language of racial superiority,” she continued. “All throughout history, those traits have been weaponized to uphold a racial hierarchy.”

Others defended the ad, with many op-ed pieces and netizens pointing out that she was just using witty wordplay.

Sweeney and American Eagle have yet to comment on the conversation, though the brand did share photos of a black woman with dark curly hair wearing the denim as part of the same campaign.

“Denim on denim on denim… on denim. AE has great jeans👖✨,” the company captioned the photos on July 27.

Lizzo wasn’t the only celebrity to join the discourse — Doja Cat also hopped on social media to make fun of Sweeney’s denim campaign.

The “Say So” rapper posted a TikTok video in which she recited Sweeney’s monologue from the ad while adding an exaggerated Southern accent.

Doja is notably friends with Lizzo and the two artists even collaborated on their song, “Still Can’t Fuh,” which dropped last month
