Just days after wowing fans with her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2025 cover, LSU gymnast and social media star Livvy Dunne shared a behind-the-scenes look at the whirlwind trip that culminated in the shoot. In a new Instagram Reel, Dunne walks fans through her voyage to Bermuda — from touchdown to the return flight home — where she posed for the the images that very quickly went viral.
"Come with me to my Sports Illustrated cover shoot," she begins, revealing how she jetted out right after competing at Auburn. Once in Bermuda, Livvy hit the ground running with fittings, a glam session at 5:30 a.m., and a full day of beachside bikini shoots. “I had no clue I was even shooting for a cover,” she says. “But I was so excited.”
The theme? Animal print — which Dunne, 22, fully embraced, even while recovering from a fractured kneecap. “Poses like this and the cover shot kinda hurt,” she admits, “but it was honestly so worth it.”
The recap shows Dunne dancing in various swimsuits, enjoying a cocktail with her mom, and smiling through the pain before catching a flight straight back to school.
