Serie A giants Napoli and AC Milan are reportedly in a transfer race to acquire Liverpool star Darwin Nunez's signature this summer.
Nunez, who arrived at Anfield from Benfica in 2022, has started in only 17 of the 47 appearances he has made for Liverpool in the 2024-25 season while registering seven goals and seven assists.
Following his limited minutes on the pitch in the campaign, Nunez has been linked with a move away from Liverpool ahead of the upcoming season.
Several reports have suggested that the Uruguayan star has attracted interest from both European and Saudi Pro League clubs and is open to the options.
In an attempt to strengthen their respective attacking lines, Napoli and Milan are keen on signing Nunez, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Napoli, meanwhile, has already established contact with Nunez, and talks are expected to advance in the upcoming days, as per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
