Sure, LIV Golf needs money to survive now that the Saudi investors are, after 2026, ceasing their outlandish spending that changed the landscape of golf as we once knew it.
Scott O’Neil acknowledges as much.
But the CEO of LIV Golf insisted in an interview with The Post on Wednesday that it will be a revamped version of team golf that will dictate the future of LIV.
Team golf, O’Neil said, will be the linchpin to LIV’s future.
