Some of the best young baseball players in the country will soon be in the spotlight.
The Little League World Series returns this August for its 78th year, displaying 20 youth baseball squads' talent in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The double-elimination bracket creates for fun moments and chaos each year, with 10 U.S. teams and 10 global teams competing for the title.
The 2025 tournament is set to run for 12 days, ending with a head-to-head meeting between the top U.S. squad and the top international squad for the world championship. From blossoming young star ballplayers, to viral moments on and off the diamond, the Little League World Series always brings some excitement. Which teams will be involved in 2025?

Who is in the Little League World Series?
A total of 20 teams compete in the Little League World Series each year, with 10 being from the United States and 10 being international squads. After the U.S. teams and international teams go through their respective brackets, one representative of each will meet for the LLWS world championship.

When is the Little League World Series?

The 2025 Little League World Series is set to run from Aug. 13 until Aug. 24, when the world championship and third-place games will be held.
In the double-elimination bracket, every team is be guaranteed to play in at least two games.

What channel is the Little League World Series on?
- Channel: ESPN, ESPN2, ABC
- Live stream: ESPN+, Fubo
ESPN will be carrying the 2025 Little League World Series across three of its channels: ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC. The championship games will be airing on ABC, while a majority of the LLWS games will air on ESPN.

Where is the Little League World Series?

Two stadiums host all the Little League World Series action: Howard J. Lamade Stadium and Volunteer Stadium.
Howard J. Lamade Stadium is the main home of the LLWS, hosting the championship game and most of the late-tournament matchups. It has a capacity of 10,000 people, but the grass areas surrounding the stadium allow up to 40,000 people to see games.
The other LLWS venue in Williamsport is Volunteer Stadium, which hosts several games throughout the tournament. Up to 5,000 people can be seated at Volunteer Stadium.

Who won the Little League World Series last year?
In the 2024 Little League World Series, Lake Mary Little League of Lake Mary, Florida, took down Kuei-Shan Little League of Taoyuan, Chinese Taipei, for the title. Lake Mary won the 2-1 game in walk-off fashion, with a bunt play resulting in the winning run.
Lake Mary's win marked the first-ever for a team from Florida.

Teams from the United States have won the most, accounting for 40 of the total titles. There have been a total of 37 international titles, with the most being from Chinese Taipei with 17. Japan has the second-most with 11, including five since 2010.
Within the U.S., California has won the LLWS more than any other state with eight championships in total. Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Hawaii and New Jersey all tied at fourth with four.
