Caitlin Clark traded her Fever jersey for a golf polo this offseason, taking part in a Pro-AM tournament on Wednesday. But it was her earlier visit to Michael Jordan’s golf course that drew the biggest buzz, highlighted by a six-word shoutout from Lisa Leslie.

The Sparks legend reacted to Clark's appearance at the Grove XXIII golf club on X (formerly Twitter), offering a love-filled message.

"Wow! Go @CaitlinClark22 go!!! I love this," Leslie tweeted.

Wow! Go @CaitlinClark22 go!!! I love this💕💕

Michael Jordan’s exclusive golf facility is accessible strictly by invitation and reportedly requires a $200,000 initiation fee. According to reports, the membership list is said to include Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, and Mark Wahlberg, among a few, with Caitlin Clark now among the select celebrities to grace the course.

Clark's appearance at Groove XXIII came before her appearance at the Annika Sorenstam Pro-Am on Wednesday, with her reported round at the $20 million course likely serving as preparation for the event.

The Fever guard made her second appearance at the tournament earlier this week, after debuting in the Pro-Am alongside Nelly Korda in 2024. This time, she was joined by her teammates Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull, who served as her caddies.

Clark's group featured Nellie Korda/ Lauryn Nguyen, Jordan Jackson, and Dan Towriss as she finished with a final score of -11 while netting 59 on the Par 70 Pelican Golf Club course. While she did play some incredible shots, she placed 36th in the event.

Lisa Leslie once showed her support for Caitlin Clark while discussing her undeniable impact on the WNBA

Caitlin Clark has emerged as one of the biggest stars in the WNBA, with the Indiana Fever guard helping grow the league with her influence both on and off the court. Still, her impact remains a point of debate, with some players and critics arguing that her influence on the sport’s overall growth has been overstated.

However, WNBA legend Lisa Leslie dismissed those claims during an interview with USA Today in March, while showing her support towards Clark and her undeniable impact on the WNBA.

"What Caitlin Clark has done for the women’s game is undeniable. She’s had a huge effect the “Caitlin Clark effect.” Have we ever seen teams move to larger arenas just to host a matchup? No, we have not. So if she’s bringing more eyes to the sport, why feel any type of way about it?" she expressed. (Timestamp: 6:18 onwards)
