Jahmyr Gibbs is still going to get plenty of carries as the Sonic to David Montgomery's Knuckles in the Detroit Lions' backfield.
But Gibbs has another role to play in 2025.
He's set to see a lot more time split out wide as a receiver.
"I’m being split out, I guess, like way more than I was the past two years," Gibbs told WKYZ. "That’s good, that’s going to be fun. I’ve been waiting on that. He wants me to be more involved in it, so that’s what he plans on doing."

John Morton has taken over as Lions offensive coordinator after the departure of Ben Johnson to be the Bears' new head coach.
Gibbs already has 104 catches across his first two NFL seasons, so he has the skill with his hands, and he's certainly quick and shifty enough to get open.
This move could raise Gibbs' fantasy football value and his real life stardom even higher than it already is.
