The Detroit Lions haven't put together the encore season their fans would've wanted.
And on Sunday in Week 16, in a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers that they needed to have, the Lions got off to a rough start.
It brought out the boo birds.

These boos came after the Lions faced a third-and-15 deep in their own end, and Jared Goff just threw a short pass to Shane Zylstra.
It was a tough start all around.
Early, the Lions went for it on fourth down and didn't convert.
Their next drive, they ended up settling for a Jake Bates field goal.
The superstar Jahmyr Gibbs had a rough start. His first four carries went for a total of negative-4 yards.
Detroit still has time to turn things around and get some cheers.
But early on Sunday in the late afternoon window at Ford Field, the boos were making their way out, and the 8-6 Lions needed to figure out what they were doing.
