The mini-tour was just a test run.
In September, Linkin Park embarked on a quick six-concert trek teasing their upcoming “From Zero” album featuring new lead singer Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara, due out Nov. 15.
Now, one day before the record is set to drop, the rap-rockers announced they’re going on a full-fledged ‘From Zero World Tour’ from January through November 2025 in support of the record along with special guests Queens of the Stone Age, AFI, JPEGMAFIA, Spiritbox, Jean Dawson and others on select dates.
They’re not skipping New York and New Jersey, either.
Late into the six-month (!) jaunt, Armstrong, Mike Shinoda and co. drop into Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Tuesday, July 29 and Newark’s Prudential Center on Sunday, Aug. 3.
“Getting back out on the road has been incredible,” Shinoda said in a statement about the short stint the band went on earlier this year. “The fans’ support is overwhelming, and we’re ready to take this energy even further around the world. ‘From Zero’ is a new chapter for us, and we’re so excited to share it with everyone on a bigger scale.”
At all shows, Armstrong, 38, will fill in for the late Chester Bennington, who died in 2017. Rock producer Colin Brittain has been tapped to replace drummer Rob Bourdon, who left Linkin Park after Bennington’s untimely passing.
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming North American ‘From Zero’ shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale is Friday, Nov. 22.

Linkin Park new music
Ahead of the album’s new release, Linkin Park has released four singles.
The lead single, “The Emptiness Machine” starts quietly — by the band’s standards — until Armstrong takes over vocal duties around the 1:10 mark and makes a powerful impression right away. The Dead Sara singer’s go-for-broke falsetto instantly breathes life into the band’s trademark dramatic lyrics (Let you cut me open just to watch me bleed is as Linkin Park as it gets) and quickly establishes her as a forced to be reckoned with. In short, she’s a revelation.
Shortly after the release of “The Emptiness Machine” came the rap-heavy “Heavy Is The Crown,” which is an effective marriage of Shinoda’s disaffected flow and Armstrong’s spine-curdling yowl. Midway through the track, an elongated Armstrong scream cuts through the noise and loudly announces the lead single was no fluke.
“Over Each Other,” the third single, isn’t quite as heavy as its predecessors — relationship issues don’t have the same gravitas as the existential questions posed by the first two anthems — but still works. A slight palate cleanser never hurt anyone.
Finally, the dark “Two Faced” follows the same Linkin Park formula that makes the band so great. Shinoda spits, instrumentals adjust volume between the metal and the Hip-Hop and Armstrong goes harder than ever bleeding herself dry singing “stop yelling at me.” Easily another essential entry in the Linkin Park canon.

Emily Armstrong controversy
While Armstrong may be a great fit for Linkin Park, she does have a somewhat checkered past.
The 38-year-old singer has ties to the Church of Scientology, and, although it’s unclear whether or not she’s still associated with the organization, this news has upset Linkin Park.
Armstrong also allegedly attended actor Danny Masterson’s rape trial and conviction. As of now, there is no information on her relationship with Masterson, who was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison.
