Lil Tay Says She Made Over $1 Million Within Hours of Creating Her OnlyFans Account
Lil Tay can add the support of her family to her piggy bank.
Two days after the 18-year-old made $1 million within hours of launching her OnlyFans, her dad Chris Hope shared his thoughts on his daughter having an account on the subscription-based adult content website.
In an interview with TMZ published Aug. 5, the attorney said that Lil Tay (real name Claire Eileen Qi Hope) is now an adult and “can make her own decisions,” noting, "I am sure she is going to be successful in whatever she decides to do."
And while Chris said that he loves his daughter and is not in a place to judge her choice to join the adult website, he admitted that "some people won’t approve no matter what she does."
Ahead of the launch of her OnlyFans, Lil Tay—who made headlines in 2018 after a statement was posted to her Instagram claiming she and her brother Jason had died, though she later said her account had been hacked—teased the “don’t miss” content to her followers.
“Y’all already know what the f--k going on,” the rapper, who turned 18 on July 29, said in an Aug. 2 Instagram video. “Lil Tay’s dropping the youngest link of the century. Mark your calendars. Tomorrow 3:00 p.m. EST.”
She added, “Nobody—including my family, including the grown ass haters—is gonna stop me. You know why? Lil Tay rich and finna get richer, b---h.
Indeed, Lil Tay followed up her claim the next day with a screenshot that seemingly proved she had earned $1,024,298 in the first three hours of her page going live: $511,003 from subscriptions, $486,558 from messages and $26,736 in tips.
