The New York Liberty are loaded.
And that was before the huge move they made on Monday.
The Liberty are lining up to sign Emma Meesseman to a contract, according to ESPN's Alexa Philippou.
"Meesseman’s arrival will be subject to the length of time it takes to go through the visa application process," writes Philippou.
Meesseman was the 2019 WNBA Finals MVP and is a two-time All Star.
She hasn't played in the league since 2022.
The 6-foot-4 Belgian forward averaged 12.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game for the Chicago Sky in her last WNBA season.
She had played seven seasons with the Washington Mystics before that, winning the ring in 2019.
Meesseman most recently was on the court for Belgium in the EuroBasket competition.
After the 2022 WNBA season, Meesseeman signed on with Fenerbahce in Turkey. She was the EuroLeague MVP that year as they hoisted the competition trophy.
They repeated in 2023-24 with both the championship and the MVP honors, so Meesseman ran it back this season, too, although Fenerbahce came up short.
Meesseman joins a Liberty team that is atop the Eastern Conference with a 15-6 record, second only in the entire WNBA to Minnesota.
The Liberty are so stacked that Meesseman can ease into minutes and come off the bench for a while before New York needs to decide whether she should be starting.
She'll certainly have a great chance at a second title by joining the defending champions.
