HEXWAVE uses millimeter wave, advanced 3D imaging and AI to detect concealed metallic and non-metallic threats and other prohibited items. The system allows for rapid, automated screening using a high-throughput, contactless, walkthrough portal to detect liquid, powder and plastic explosives, 3D printed ghost guns and other contraband.

The scenario-based testing was directed by Fitzgerald Technology Group, internationally recognized for their subject matter expertise in Government Security and Public Safety planning, “Over the course of three days at a major U.S. courthouse, we successfully demonstrated the capabilities of HEXWAVE to FTG, senior leadership, law enforcement, and security personnel,” said Liberty CEO Bill Frain. “HEXWAVE underwent rigorous testing and consistently detected a wide range of concealed threats—including 3D-printed firearms, ceramic knives, detonators, tasers masked as cell phones, and various forms of explosives such as liquids, gels, powders, and plastics—along with other common prohibited items.
