Just like many basketball fans, Indiana Fever’s Lexie Hull was glued to her television watching the 2025 NBA Finals between the Indiana Pacers and the OKC Thunder. Game 1 was particularly exhilarating as Tyrese Haliburton drilled a game-winning jumper with less than a second remaining to steer the Pacers to a shocking win in the series opener.

In a video posted by the WNBA social media page, Hull recounted the moment Haliburton hit the shot.

“I was sitting on my couch on FaceTime with Sophie (Cunningham) and Caitlin (Clark) and we were just going crazy,” she said. “It was like the coolest thing…It was a fun experience.”

The Fever players have been supporting the Pacers throughout the NBA playoffs, as they are shocking teams with their grit behind the heroics of Haliburton.

With Haliburton’s jumper, the Pacers took a 1-0 lead in the series, before the Thunder tied it up at 1-1 after a Game 2 victory on Sunday.

The series will now return to Indianapolis at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the same home arena of the Fever in the WNBA. Game 3 is set for Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Fever are in the middle of the WNBA regular season, winning four of their eight games so far. Superstar Clark remained out for most of the season due to a quadriceps injury.

Lexie Hull reveals how much she loves the Pacers

The Indiana Pacers have made many fans believe in their group in their current playoff run, including Lexie Hull. The Fever guard expressed how much she likes the Pacers in an interview on May 14.

“I’m a big Pacers fan," she said. "… I can see them going all the way, taking the finals down. It's fun to watch them, and it's really cool just to see. When the postseason comes, anything can happen. And they have confidence in each other and confidence in their team, and obviously the city has confidence in them. So, I'm just excited to see how far they can take this.”

Lexie Hull is a Washington native, but has played for the Fever in the past three years, immersing herself in the Indiana culture of basketball.

Like many others, Hull is expected to continue cheering the team, as the Pacers look to take the series lead in Game 3 at their home court.
