Rocker Lenny Kravitz made his triumphant Bahamas-performance debut to kick off the 4th annual Culinary & Arts Festival on Friday.

“This is the first time we’re playing on home turf,” an emotional Kravitz — whose maternal grandfather was born in the Bahamas — told the crowd of chefs, celebs and adoring fans.

Kravitz performed his biggest hits, including “Fly Away,” “It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over,” and “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” during the 90-minute set that took place at Baha Mar in Nassau.

“This is monumental for me,” the Grammy winner said during the “Taste of Baha Mar” welcome party.

Kravitz didn’t let the Caribbean heat bother him as he strutted around the outdoor stage in a leather jacket, low-rise jeans and gold metallic top.

He accessorized the look with layers of necklaces and a pair of oversized sunglasses, which he kept on despite the concert taking place from 10:30 p.m. to midnight.

Earlier in the evening, attendees sampled delicious foods from Baha Mar’s notable restaurants, including Conant’s new Italian eatery, Leola, sushi hotspot Katsuya, master butcher Dario Cecchini’s Carna and Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud’s Café Boulud.

Boulud hosted a 5-course truffle dinner at his restaurant at Rosewood Baha Mar two nights prior to the welcome party.

The Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival, which kicked off Wednesday and ends Sunday, offers foodies an opportunity to experience exclusive culinary events, including master classes, demos, private dinners and intimate conversations with high-profile chefs.
