Claude Monet is getting the LEGO treatment.

In partnership with NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art (a.k.a. The Met), LEGO has dropped its latest fine art piece: Monet’s 1899 painting “Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies.”

“Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies” is a permanent installation in The Met’s renowned collection, but you can bring “Water Lilies” into your own renowned collection now, thanks to LEGO.

The newest LEGO Art set is a brick-built recreation of Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies, capturing the peaceful garden scene with a curved bridge above a pond of water lilies.

The 3,179-piece set uses well-known LEGO® elements, including butterflies, cherries, bananas, swords and shields with subtle color variations of different greens and cool pastels to reflect the soft light and impressionist brushstrokes typical of Claude Monet’s style.

When completed, it forms a detailed display piece inspired by one of the most famous works of Impressionism, with a brick-built frame making it display-ready.
