LeBron James makes his support of Caitlin Clark clear after Fever destroy Sky 93-58

Caitlin Clark has fans all over the world, and one of her biggest just might be Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. 

James shared his encouragement for Clark ahead of the Indiana Fever's home opener against the Chicago Sky on Saturday. “Good luck and DO YOU per usual this season!!!” the Lakers' legend captioned with a three-picture post shared on Instagram on Saturday afternoon.

That message was largely well-received, but it was James' tweet after the game that really caught the eye of fans. "TRIPLE DUB CC!! Great way to kick off the season!" he wrote alongside the applause emoji. Clark ended the game with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists — and the Fever won the game 93-58.

The triple-double is the third of Clark's career and a strong sign of things to come as the Fever fight their way through the regular season toward the championships. If anyone knows how tough that can be, it's James, which makes his support all the more enthralling for fans (and likely for Clark herself).
