LeBron James has touching moment with wife Savannah after Lakers’ season-ending loss

LeBron James and his wife Savannah had a private moment in the players’ tunnel after the Lakers’ season-ending loss to Timberwolves in Games 5 of their first-round playoff series Wednesday night.

The couple kissed and shared a brief exchanged, but it was unclear what was said, as seen in a video on social media.

Savannah, who was waiting for the NBA’s all-time leading scorer near the Lakers’ locker room at Crypto.com Arena, was wearing a cap, ripped jeans and a grey hoodie.

The underdog Timberwolves advanced to the second round with a 103-96 victory over the Lakers on Wednesday.

This was the second straight postseason that the Lakers lost in the first round.

James had 22 points, while All-Star point guard Luka Doncic — whom the Lakers acquired in a midseason blockbuster from Dallas for big man Anthony Davis — added 28 points and nine assists.

It wasn’t enough for Los Angeles to steal a win on their home court against the sixth-seeded Wolves.

Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert had playoff career highs with 27 points and 24 rebounds, scoring more points than he totaled in the first four games of the first-round series.

Minnesota star point guard Anthony Edwards had a double-double and power forward Julius Randle added 23 points.

James, 40, now enters another offseason after a disappointing first-round exit from the playoffs — and will inevitably face questions about his playing future.

“All right, have a good offseason, I’ll see you when I see you,” James jokingly said to his son, Lakers rookie Bronny James, after the loss.

The Timberwolves will face the winner of the Warriors-Rockets series in the Western Conference semifinals.
