With LeBron James being an NFL fan and playing for the LA Lakers, he has been very supportive of his fellow Los Angeles athletes. James celebrated the LA Dodgers' World Series win last week, so his congratulatory message for Keenan Allen was on par with his social media work.
Allen returned to the Chargers this season after spending last season with the Chicago Bears. It wasn't the only record he broke this season. He became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 1,000 career receptions in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders.
The six-time Pro Bowler broke Marvin Harrison's record, doing it in just 159 games.

LeBron James nearing season debut for Lakers. (Photo: IMAGN)The LA Lakers started the season without LeBron James, who was diagnosed with sciatica during training camp. James was initially ruled out for two to four weeks before being given a return timeline of mid-November.
However, it seems like James could extend his absence, though there has been some good news about his recovery. Lakers beat reporter Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sports Network reported on Friday that "The King" has been cleared to for full contact during practice.
James is set to get re-evaluated in one to two weeks, which means he could return on the dot in mid-November, or at worst, the third week of the month. The Lakers are off to a fantastic start to the campaign at 7-3. Luka Doncic has looked like an MVP, while Austin Reaves has seemingly taken the leap to All-Star status.
It will be interesting to see how much of an impact James has on the team upon his return. He's still among the best players in the league last season at the age of 40, but he didn't have his usual summer because of sciatica.
