Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter caught the attention of fans with his Christmas Day celebration amid his recovery from a season-ending ligament injury.

In a video shared by NFL analyst Dov Kleiman on X, the former Colorado Buffaloes star was seen dressed as an elf and danced alongside another person dressed as Santa.

The two-way star suffered the injury in practice on Oct. 30 and underwent surgery on Nov. 11, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.

Hunter caught 28 passes for 298 yards and one touchdown in seven games, while displaying his two-way ability by posting 15 tackles and three passes defended at cornerback.

Earlier this week, Travis Hunter was seen in Colorado, walking with the help of crutches. However, Hunter showcased his progress before Christmas Day by walking without crutches.

"This ain't nothing to me," Hunter said. "I'm bout to be running a 40 yd dash by tomorrow"

While Hunter was restricted to just seven games due to his injury in his rookie season, Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski recognised his ability with the ball in his hand.

"It's us really trying to narrow down and find what are the things he can do well, put them in the game plan, then try to find a way to ensure that those opportunities arise throughout the course of the game," Udinski said. "We never want to force somebody the ball, but he's certainly a guy who can make things happen when he has the ball in his hand."

Despite Hunter being on the sidelines for the last two months, the Jaguars have clinched a postseason berth, thanks to a six-game winning streak that sees them at top of the AFC South.
