Lauren Sánchez kicks off wedding festivities in corseted couture

Here comes the bride.

Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos were spotted leaving their hotel on Thursday for what appears to be a wedding rehearsal or welcome event.

The former looked totally glamorous in a strapless Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown featuring a waist-snatching corset. She pulled her hair back into an elegant ponytail.

The skirt and top were both embroidered with a floral blue and green motif. The dress hit the runway earlier this year, with Kendall Jenner serving as a model for a different gown in the same collection.

Bezos, meanwhile, was dressed much more casually, wearing a brown suit with a white shirt. He skipped a tie and added sunglasses.

Guests started arriving in Venice, Italy, this week, with Sánchez herself arriving via helicopter in a black Alaïa tulip dress. On Wednesday, she sported a bedazzled black Alexander McQueen dress from 2003 for dinner with her future husband.

Guests appear to be congregating for the Thursday night event ahead of Friday’s big day, with Kim Kardashian rocking a snakeskin corset gown with sister Khloé and mom Kris Jenner.

Orlando Bloom, Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King and more were also seen leaving their hotels to travel via water taxi to the event.

Page Six reported that guests were kept clueless about the wedding festivities’ locations but were provided with mood boards for outfit inspiration. We hear that the nuptials will be a multi-day affair, ending this weekend.

The ceremony itself will reportedly take place tomorrow at Teatro Verde on the island of  San Giorgio Maggiore.
