The Baltimore Ravens appear to be in a spot of bother, at least right now, with Lamar Jackson's contract situation the first domino that needs to fall.
Once that happens, the Ravens can then move forward with signing free agents and working on keeping those set to hit the market from even making it there.
One player who has gotten a lot of attention is Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum.
After Baltimore declined his fifth-year option, the time has come to either pay him or allow him to walk to free agency.
And according to ESPN's Dan Graziano, the Ravens might be priced out of keeping Tyler as Lamar's center.
“The Ravens hope they can keep free agent center Tyler Linderbaum,” Graziano wrote. “But plenty of people in Indy believe he will get offers that exceed $20 million per year, and that Baltimore won't want to go that high.”

Ravens must keep Linderbaum
Yes, it is going to be pricey, but the Ravens can't let Lamar's center leave ahead of a year where the pressure is on him and the franchise to get things done in the postseason.
But with Linderbaum set to reset the center market, the Ravens, according to Graziano, have a price they aren't willing to go past.
So, it will be interesting to see how things play out over the coming weeks. Jackson's proposed new or restructured contract would help the chances of retaining Linderbaum.
But right now, it appears keeping hold of the Pro Bowl center isn't something Baltimore will be able to do.
