New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is going to be watched like a hawk all week and the following week.
Why? The MVP favorite is dealing with a shoulder issue picked up in the win over the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship game.
Maye was limited in practice on Wednesday, and as the Patriots dropped their injury report on Thursday, Drake was again listed as limited. Hence, no progression on his injury.
Cue Patriots panic.
Although not quite.

Concern over Maye's shoulder?
Well, fans might be, but Drake isn't.
Speaking to the media, Maybe stated, "I feel good," when asked about his shoulder per Patriots on CLNS.
In truth, Maye being listed as questionable on back-to-back days is nothing to be overly concerned about; after all, there is still another full week of practices.
If Maye is still listed as limited come the Thursday before the Super Bowl, ok, panic.
But right now, it appears New England is doing their best to ease their young QB through the first week of practice ahead of the Super Bowl.
