Khloe Kardashian Says Emotional Reunion With Ex Lamar Odom Was “Draining”
It seems Lamar Odom still wants to keep up with Khloe Kardashian.
The two-time NBA champion shared multiple social media posts in recent days featuring photos of himself and his ex-wife—to whom he was married from 2009 to 2016—accompanied by a series of inspirational messages.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) Oct. 31, Lamar, 45, shared a picture of himself and Khloe, 41, taken during Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 event in February 2016. At the time, the former couple were still estranged while the Kardashians star helped him through his recovery from a near-fatal drug overdose at a Nevada brothel months earlier.
And Lamar appeared to cryptically reference Khloe’s support, writing alongside the pic, “Grace carried me when strength couldn’t.”
The following day, the pro athlete resurfaced another memory from 2016 on the platform, posting two photos of himself alongside Khloe as they made their way to church with her nephew Mason Disick and niece Penelope Disick. He captioned the post, “Pain doesn’t scare me anymore.”
Hours later, Lamar dug even deeper into the vault as he posted a snap from his and Khloe’s wedding day. In the image, the then-newlyweds made silly faces with the Good American founder’s sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
“The vibe is simple,” Lamar wrote in his X post. “No stress, no mess.”

The ex-spouses recently came face-to-face for the first time in nine years during a season six episode of The Kardashians in February, when Lamar playfully referred to Khloe as his “wife.” However, she made it crystal clear she wasn’t interested in rekindling a romantic spark.
“I don’t have a lot of emotions for this meeting,” Khloe said in a confessional during the episode. “I have dealt with so much trauma in this relationship. For years, this was such the love of my life that to learn how to unlove someone, to have to go through all that, it's almost like a death.”
She added, “Him calling me his wife, words are empty.”
