After what has been an injury-riddled season for Lamar Jackson, the quarterback is sidelined once again. Jackson left the disappointing 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday in the first half, and it's uncertain that he will return to action before the end of the year.
In the second quarter of the Week 16 game, Jackson suffered a back contusion just after the two-minute warning. He was kneed in the back by safety Craig Woodson, then handed off to Keaton Mitchell before limping to the sideline during the ensuing timeout.
John Harbaugh offered an update on Lamar Jackson's health in his media availability on Monday. The coach noted that the quarterback's return is uncertain as he deals with bruises in his back.

Lamar Jackson has sat out three games earlier this season due to a hamstring injury. Since his return, he has appeared on the injury report with knee, ankle and toe issues. This is in addition to an illness that forced him to miss a practice ahead of the Patriots game.
The Ravens continue their playoff quest amid uncertainty around Lamar Jackson
The loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday had a massive hit on the Baltimore Ravens' playoff hopes, which had gained some momentum over the weeks. With a 7-8 record, it dropped them two games behind first-place Pittsburgh in the AFC North with two games to go.
While the Ravens have lost control of their playoff fate, they’re still in the dark about whether Lamar Jackson will be available to keep their hopes alive with a crucial win in Week 17. The Ravens will be on the road to play the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night.
Jackson’s early-season absence with injury played a major role in Baltimore’s 1-5 start to the season. The Ravens turned things around after he returned and stayed in command of their playoff fate. However, it went in shambles again after they squandered an 11-point fourth-quarter lead against the Patriots.
Should Lamar Jackson fail to recover from his injury this week, the Ravens will turn to Tyler Huntley against the Packers. Huntley completed 9 of 10 passes for 65 yards when he came in for Jackson against the Patriots.
