The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James are going through some relationship issues right now. From the Lakers rumors, it seems that LeBron isn’t too happy with being replaced as the face of the franchise. This has led to countless LeBron trade rumors.
Whether LeBron requests a trade from the Lakers this season or waits until his contract is up next season, everyone is waiting to see what LeBron and the Lakers decide to do.
Bleacher Report’s @Three_Cone created a bold LeBron trade idea. This trade would send both LeBron and his son Bronny James to the Miami Heat in return for a solid starter and some draft capital.
The trade looks like this:
Lakers trade: LeBron James, Bronny James
Miami trades: Andrew Wiggins, Terry Rozier, two first-round picks
This trade would definitely be worthwhile for the Lakers. Not only are they getting much younger and more athletic by replacing LeBron with Wiggins, but adding two first-round picks in the process. The Lakers need defense and draft capital for the future. This trade gets them both.
While LeBron is still an elite playmaker, he has lost more than a step on the defensive end. Wiggins is still only 30 years old and averaged 19 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists last season in Miami.

Wiggins would be the perfect wing to play alongside Luka Doncic. He could stretch the floor with his solid three-point shooting and guard the opposing team’s best guard or wing. The draft picks would also allow the Lakers to potentially make more trades down the line as they build their team around Luka.
