After the Los Angeles Lakers drafted Bronny James in 2024, the team has been fully behind his development. Of course, a lot of people will talk about his father, LeBron James, and how he was the franchise's cornerstone player.
That is not true anymore because the Lakers have parted ways with LeBron, who joined the Philadelphia 76ers. Now, Bronny is on his own, and while some people believe he is on his way out, it seems the Lakers are putting their faith in the 22-year-old guard.
The Lakers are fully backing Bronny James moving forward
While he is not a star player, it seems that Bronny has gained a lot of fans within the Lakers organization. He might only be 6'2", but he has elite athleticism, a great work ethic, and a solid approach to developing his game under JJ Redick.
Of course, Bronny is not as big a name as his father, but it seems that he still wants to contribute. He wants to chase his dream of being an NBA player, and it looks like Bronny has done a great job of convincing people that he deserves a shot.

The Lakers' organization seems to be big believers in Bronny. Redick is the same; even though he has been critical, he sees the potential in the 22-year-old guard. As he continues to progress, he might pay back the trust the Lakers have in him.
"The belief in Bronny James, the person/player, is genuine. Of course the Lakers knew drafting him would make LeBron happy, but they've always been intrigued by his athleticism and length (despite his size), and since he's been in the building, they've raved about his work ethic and how he handles all the craziness that comes with being LeBron James Jr.," Lakers insider Dan Woike said in a Reddit AMA.
That is a massive boost for Bronny's stock within the Lakers roster. A lot of people suggested that he might get cut from the team after his father left, but it looks like James' hard work has paid off because the rest of the Lakers organization still have faith in his development.
