Ladies and gents, Kevin Durant has officially entered the "Sinners" chat, and that means it's time to get to a movie theater and see it if you haven't already.
Yes, the movie is indeed *that* good. So good, that KD had to get on Twitter to say so himself. "The whole cast, everybody behind the scenes that had their hands on that film, Thank you. Great content. Mbj reaching higher levels of greatness every outing. Ryan Coogler continues to speak to the soul. Good s*it, check Sinners out asap." The comments, of course, were supportive as well, with Gary Sheffield Jr. saying "I will. Thanks, Kevin," and Michael Trevino adding, "Great Film ***."
There was one comment, however, that earned a retweet from Durant. "If this movie made KD get off cod ["Call of Duty"] and come out the house, it gotta be fire," wrote X user Give Kyrie Max Deal, to which Durant responded, "Chill bro, u know too much."

— Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) April 19, 2025Durant isn't the only one to give his praises of the film, which is earning rave reviews from fans and movie lovers. Spike Lee gave "Sinners" its props on Carmelo Anthony's podcast "7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony." The legendary director stated: "I was in LA, and Ryan called me to tell me they were testing the IMAX for the film...I didn't even know what it was. It was myself, Ryan and his beautiful wife, and I thought I was courtside at the Garden!"

— Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) April 19, 2025"There's one scene...I don't want to give everything away. There's one scene where it goes through the whole history of our music, and then my brother [Jordan] is playing twins, and then I got it," he continued. "I hope everybody supports this film—it's amazing!," he continued.
"Sinners" is in theaters now.
