La La Anthony goes total mom mode with emotional message to son Kiyan Anthony after his big game

La La Anthony couldn't but help but go into total mom mode after son Kiyan Anthony's big game at the 2025 Jordan Brand Classic Sunday night.

Kiyan, who is a Syracuse recruit, had a big night, scoring 26 points, which included making 11-of-15 field goal attempts and a 3-for-5 performance from 3-point range as his Team Air defeated Team Flight 141-124. Kiyan's performance earned him the coveted MVP award and afterwards mom La La was pretty pumped up, taking to Instagram to post a video of her congratulating her son after his huge night.

"Yesssssss I’m that mom 😂😩😂," she captioned her post, adding, "Such a proud moment watching Kiyan get MVP at the Jordan Classic, the same game Melo played in when he was in highschool! MVP @kiyananthony!!! 👑." Underneath Anthony's post were some pretty famous names also sharing their congratulations.

Tina Knowles commented, "Yessss Kiyan !!!!! Congratulations !!! ❤️❤️❤️ Lala and Carmelo yal did great!!!!!," and basketball legend Lisa Leslie added, "All hoop mom’s can relate😂 Congrats 🙌🙌🙌." Of course, dad Carmelo Anthony (who scored 27 points in his Jordan Brand Classic in 2002) was there was there cheering Kiyan on as well.

And with Anthony winning the MVP, he also received a celebratory Jumpman letterman’s jacket from his father.
