LA Knight have now given himself a new name. The star posted about it after SmackDown went off the air.

LA Knight cut a promo on John Cena after his match was done and he beat the returning Zack Ryder. The star said that he was looking Cena's way, and the difference was that Cena could not see him. He admitted that things had not gone his way, but things had changed and now he was the one standing as a winner.

"Johnny. Johnny C. I'm looking your way. The only difference is you can't see me. Chances are you might see me and you might think to yourself that LA Knight, things have not quite gone your way lately. And you'd be right. And you'd be damn right. Here I stand winning that first round in the Last Time is Now tournament."

The star then announced that he was taking on a new name. He said that he was the man and "The Gatekeeper" to John Cena. For anyone to face Cena, they would have to beat him first, making for quite a challenge.

Now, the star is The Gatekeeper, and he has made it quite clear he intends to beat everyone as well as John Cena, so that he can say that he has beaten the greatest star of all time.

"If they are going to pass through, they are going to have to pass through me. Because I am the man. I am the Gatekeeper to John Cena. I am the Gatekeeper to John Cena's last match now. You think to yourself, look, why do you care about being John Cena's last match? I told you last week, if John Cena is the greatest of all time and I beat John Cena, what does that make me? I don't know if that makes me the greatest of all time, but my god, if that doesn't make me what is, if that does not make the isness of this business, which is exactly what I am. Because this is my game, there can be nobody else."

Even on his caption, he called himself the Gatekeeper again, clearly indicating this is his name now after SmackDown.

It remains to be seen who he faces in the next round of the tournament.
