The huge responsibility falls on James Harden's shoulders, who once again will lead the team's lineup. Kris Dunn joins the former league MVP in the backcourt, while Derrick Jones Jr. and John Collins take their position on the wing. Ivica Zubac leads the frontcourt from the center position.

The Clippers received a concerning injury update on Kawhi Leonard on Thursday. The two-time NBA Finals MVP is dealing with a "significant" foot sprain, in addition to his sprained ankle. He will be re-evaluated in a week. Meanwhile, Bradley Beal (left hip fracture), Yanic Konan Niederhauser (assignment) and Jahmyl Telfort (G-League two-way) are also ruled out.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks listed Anthony Davis, Dereck Lively II and P.J. Washington as "questionable" for the Clippers game. Davis is dealing with a left calf strain, Lively II is nursing a right knee sprain, and Washington injured his left shoulder in the previous game.
