Sorry Kyler Murray, Jacoby Brissett just took your job.

In March, Brissett signed a two-year deal worth $12.5 million with the Cardinals. He started the year as the backup to Kyler Murray. Unfortunately, the 2019 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year injured himself during their loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 5.

Jacoby Brissett then took over as the QB1 in the last two games for the team. However, he lost both contests against the Colts and the Packers. Despite this, on Saturday, Coach Jonathan Gannon named him as the starter while Murray continued to recover from his injury.

"He (Kyler Murray) is getting better," Gannon said as per ESPN. "He's had some more work this last week, but like I said, he's just not ready to go yet. ... That's why I'm just saying Jacoby's starting (against the Cowboys). But if (Murray) can have a role, he can have a role, but you take it one day at a time."

This season, Jacoby Brissett has recorded a total of 860 yards and six touchdowns passing.
