After entering the NBA Finals as underdogs against the Spurs, the Knicks are now in full control of the series after taking the first two games in San Antonio.
The betting market has flipped hard, with the Knicks becoming massive favorites to win the NBA title as the series shifts back to Madison Square Garden.
Heading into Game 3, the Knicks are -490 to win the Larry O’Brien trophy at FanDuel Sportsbook, an unthinkable number just weeks ago.
Facing a massive uphill climb, the Spurs are +380 to pull off the improbable comeback.
Oddsmakers believe the Knicks will have the upper hand on their home floor on Monday night in New York – but not by much.
They are a 2.5-point favorite as of Saturday afternoon, which suggests that Vegas isn’t quite counting out the Spurs grabbing Game 3 and making this a series.
The most likely outcome, though, in the eyes of bookmakers, is absolute bedlam in Manhattan.
DraftKings has the Knicks at +155 to sweep the Finals, which is the most likely series finish at the sportsbook.
