The crowd in The Bronx went wild for Karl-Anthony Towns on the Jumbotron at the Yankees-Mets rubber game on Sunday night.

Towns was smiling in a suite alongside his girlfriend Jordyn Woods, and was sure to stand up and show off his interesting wardrobe choice.

Towns showed off his T-shirt that had a picture of a Knicks fan who became famous for his appearance in a Sidetalk NYC video after the team’s win against the Celtics in the 2021 regular-season opener.

The Knicks’ star center received thunderous applause as fans of the two baseball teams came alive during the Yankees’ 8-2 win on Sunday.

The Knicks fan shown on Towns’ shirt went viral in 2021 after the Knicks won their season opener over the Celtics in double overtime. He put his fingers in an L shape on his forehead and danced after saying “f–k Boston” in a wild scene outside of Madison Square Garden.

The largely unknown fan has become an internet sensation and is now on a T-shirt worn by Towns, who is clearly still giddy over the Knicks’ six-game series win over the Celtics.

Previously, fans of the Yankees and Mets were following the Knicks game from Yankee Stadium and Citi Field, with both fan bases erupting in applause as their basketball team ripped off wins over the Celtics.

Towns averaged 19.8 points and 12.7 rebounds a game against the Celtics, helping the Knicks make their first conference finals since 2000 when they faced the Pacers, who they’ll face again starting Wednesday at MSG.

The winner will take on either the Thunder or the Timberwolves in the 2025 NBA Finals.
