Knicks' Jalen Brunson comments on Bucks $108 million offseason addition

The Milwaukee Bucks knew entering the offseason that they had to find a way to make Giannis Antetokounmpo happy.

Whenever Antetokounmpo seems to be a bit worried about the Bucks’ future, general manager Jon Horst goes out and makes a move to keep him content. They did just that with Myles Turner, a decision that seems to be the right one.

Some believe the Bucks made one of the worst decisions of the offseason by signing Turner and waiving and stretching Damian Lillard's contract.

Perhaps that could be a problem for the Bucks in the future, but Lillard wasn't going to play at all next season. He was only getting older and would’ve been coming off a tough Achilles injury.

The Bucks had to do what they had to do, and ultimately believed that Turner was worth the money and time to make everything work.

However, it made waves around the NBA, and some players in the league have spoken out about the Bucks' decision. That includes Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks, who was shocked that the Indiana Pacers allowed him to walk.

"I thought the Myles Turner thing was weird," Brunson said on an episode of his podcast. "Like he just said, 'It's been a decade here' and all this stuff and everything, and then, boom, gone."

As Brunson touched on, Turner spent his entire career in Indiana before departing for the Bucks. He was there since 2015-16 and was a fan favorite.

Some of his comments haven't made Pacers fans happy since he signed with the Bucks, but prior to that, everything seemed to be going great.

In the end, he decided to depart for their biggest rival.
